ANNOUNCEMENT

The board of directors (the “Board”) of Guangdong Kelon Electrical Holdings Company Limited (the “Company”) wishes to announce that due to the expiration of his employment contract, Mr Zhu Chang Xu (朱常敘 ), the former secretary to the Board of the Company, has resigned on 3 July 2002. The Company hereby expresses its gratitude to Mr Zhu for his contribution to the Company.
