New responsibilities in Corporate & Investment Banking division

Francisco Bachiller appointed Executive Chairman and Co-Head of CIB

Francesco Canzonieri appointed Co-Head of CIB

As of today, the Corporate & Investment Banking division of Mediobanca will be led jointly by Francisco Bachiller, already Co-Head CIB and Country Head for Spain, Portugal & Latin America, who is also nominated with immediate effect Executive Chairman of CIB, and Francesco Canzonieri, already Country Head for Italy and Global Head of Corporate Finance, who takes on the role of Co-Head of CIB.

The new responsibilities reflect the substantial contributions made by both Bachiller and Canzonieri to the development of CIB activities in implementing the three-year strategic plan under their current respective areas of leadership.

Mediobanca would like to place on record its thanks to Stefano Marsaglia for his significant contribution and looks forward to continuing, where possible, to collaborate with Stefano in his future professional activities.
