Kraichgau-Klinik AG change of ownerships

Frankfurt, December 20, 2007 –MediClin AG is taking over the majority of
shares (75 percent) of Kraichgau-Klinik AG including the associated
facilities in Baden-Württemberg und Hessen from Landesbank
Baden-Württemberg (LBBW). LBBW holds no shares any more of Kraichgau-Klinik
AG.
The Herzzentrum Lahr Lahr/Baden, the Rehabilitationszentrum
Gernsbach/Schwarzwald, the Kraichgau-Klinik Bad Rappenau and the
Vitalis-Klinik, Bad Hersfeld are subsidiaries of the Kraichgau-Klinik
Group.
In total the Kraichgau-Group employs about 800 persons and achieved
revenues of 55 million EUR in 2006. Silence was agreed on the purchase
price.

medical focuses on endoscopic bypass and aorta surgery, implantation of
biological aortic valve prosthesis, cardiac valve replacement and cardiac
valve reconstruction. The post acute care offers the
Rehabili¬tationszentrum Gernsbach, which is specialised on early
rehabilitation after heart attacks and heart surgeries. In addition the
Zentrum is specialised on orthopaedic subsequent nursing treatment
respective the after treatment of orthopaedic surgery The Kraichgau-Klinik
Bad Rappenau is a special treatment facility for rehabilitation,
prevention, oncology oncological subsequent nursing treatment and
chronically pain diseases. The Vitalis-Klinik, Bad Hersfeld is a clinic and
rehabilitation centre which focuses on digestive and metabolic diseases.
