Frankfurt, March 6, 2009 - MEDICLIN Aktiengesellschaft (MediClin) has
achieved sales of 456.8 million Euro in the financial year 2008. This is an
increase of 64.8 million Euro against previous year's figure, whereof 51.7
million Euro are attributable to the Kraichgau-Klinik Group. A preliminary
Group operating profit of 15.8 million Euro was achieved down by 3.1
million Euro compared to the previous year's figure due to an about 8
million Euro higher rental payment. The result attributable to shareholders
of MediClin accounts for 7.0 million Euro (previous year: 5.7 million
Euro).

Group occupancy rate increased by 2%-points up to 86.2% compared to 2007

The occupancy rate increased in all three segments. Thus cost increases
could be compensated especially the cost of materials. The cost of
materials ratio rose from 21.5% (2007) to 23.1%, the staff cost ratio
decrease from 55.5% (2007) to 54.6% due to higher sales. Other operating
expense went up by 14.8 million Euro to 83.4 million Euro containing about
8 million Euro more rental payment in 2008.

The number of staff accounted in full-time employees was 5,816 (2007: 5,277
full-time employees) on average in 2008. Investments (gross additions to
property, plant and equipment) amounted to 18.0 million Euro (2007: 27.6
million Euro). The cash flow from operating activities increased to 21.5
million Euro (2007: 11,3 Mio. Euro).

The balance press conference and the analyst conference will take place on
March 25, 2009 in Frankfurt. As from that date the Annual Report 2008 will
