Becker appointed as Member of the Board of MediClin AG -Focus on the Integration and Performance of Clinics Frankfurt, 30 September 2002 With effect from 1 October, 2002, MediClin AG is handing over responsibility for the operative business to Gerhard F. Becker, 40, as Member of the Board. Heinz-Peter Schifflers, 61, who has filled this position up till now, is retiring from the Board at the end of the year. Schifflers will continue to be associated with the Company and will be responsible for MediClin AGs strategic projects. Beckers last position was as business director and member of the board of a large university clinic. Due to his leading position in the operative area in both university clinics and industry, he has special profession expertise. Becker will drive the integration, the network-working of clinics and services in the health care groups operative sector.
