VOLUNTARY ANNOUNCEMENT UPDATE ON EV CHARGING BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
This is a voluntary announcement made by MECOM Power and Construction Limited (the “ Company ”, together with its subsidiaries, the “ Group ”) to provide the shareholders and potential investors of the Company an update on the latest business development of the Group.
The board (the “ Board ”) of directors (the “ Directors ”) of the Company is pleased to announce that on 4 August 2021, MUCharging (Macau) Limited (“ MUCharging ”), an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, has been awarded a contract to set up and operate an electric vehicle (“ EV ”) charging system for the Complex of Commerce and Trade Co-operation Platform for China and Portuguese-speaking Countries in Macau. The scope of work includes supply, installation, operation and maintenance of the operating platform of the EV charging system which consists of 12 EV chargers with a total contract value of MOP300,000.
In addition, on 1 September 2021, MUCharging entered into a contract with Gold Court (Macau) Property Services Limited for undertaking an EV charging project in The Carat, a residential property project located in the southeastern area of Macau Peninsula, Macau. The project covers 233 parking spaces and the scope of work includes provision of design, supply, installation, operation and maintenance services for EV charger facilities. The contract shall remain in effect for three years and the Group shall enter into separate contracts with the landlords and/or tenants of the parking spaces for the provision of EV charging services.
As at the date of this announcement, the Group has secured EV charging projects for seven residential properties, three of which are in Guangdong Province, the People’s Republic of China and four are in Macau, covering around 4,600 private and public parking spaces in total.

The Board wishes to state that no forecast or prediction of the profits of the Group has been made with regard to the above contracts.
