THE HON. ROBERT CHARLES KUCERA APM JP APPOINTED AS CHAIRMAN OF MCS SERVICES LIMITED

MCS Services Limited (ASX: MSG ) ( MCS Services ) ( Company ) is pleased to announce the appointment of the Honourable Robert Charles (Bob) Kucera APM JP as the Company’s Independent Chairman.

Mr. Kucera maintains a prestigious 34-year career in the Western Australian Police Force, achieving the rank of Assistant Commissioner before retiring in 2001 when elected to State Parliament for the seat of Yokine. Having entered Western Australia Parliament, Bob served as Minister of Health, Sports and Recreation, Regional Minister for Peel and the South West of Western Australia, Disability Services, Small Business, Tourism, Rottnest Island, Multicultural Affairs, Seniors and Volunteering.

Mr. Kucera has represented the Western Australian Government nationally and internationally by serving, and chairing, numerous committees and inquiries such as the Cabinet Sub-Committee on Health, Economics and Industry, the Australian Ministers’ Council for Citizenship, the Cabinet Sub-Committee for Regional Western Australia and the Social Justice Strategy Committee.

Mr. Kucera is a long-standing Board Member, member and a past and present Patron of many community, volunteer and sporting group associations such as the West Coast Eagles Football Club, the Western Force Rugby Union Club, Football West (Soccer), Basketball WA, and the Fremantle Sailing Club.

As a Winston Churchill Memorial Fellow, Mr. Kucera studied in the United States, Canada, France and the United Kingdom and holds tertiary qualifications in applied and business management, Diplomas of Policing and Criminal Investigation, and is a graduate of Central Metropolitan TAFE, the Australian Institute of Police Management, and Charles Sturt University.

The Company advises that Mr. Thomas Jon Pickett has resigned as a Non-Executive Director of the Company. The Company wishes to acknowledge, and thank, Mr Pickett for his valuable contributions to the MCS Services transaction and wishes him well in his future endeavours.
