(b) On May 13, 2014, McEwen Mining Inc. (the “Company”) received and accepted the resignation of Ian Ball, President. Mr. Ball’s resignation from his position as President of the Company will be effective July 15, 2014, at which time it is expected that he will resign as director of McEwen Mining — Minera Andes Acquisition Corp., a subsidiary of the Company.

On May 13, 2014, the Company issued a press release announcing the resignation of Mr. Ball from his position as President. A copy of the May 13, 2014 press release is attached to this report as Exhibit 99.1.
