Annual General Meeting Chairman's Statement 10th June 2015

At the AGM, Jeremy Sinclair, Chairman M&C Saatchi PLC, will make the following statement:

"The year has started well, with good wins in most offices. Some substantial, some less so. The substantial help pay the bills, the smaller help make us famous. The recent Conservative election poster showing a nervous Mr Miliband in Alex Salmond's pocket is regarded by many as the turning point in the campaign.

"Elsewhere, since the year end, we have started up in Tel Aviv, bought a substantial share of Santa Clara in Sao Paulo and started Shopper Marketing in the UK. Last year's investment in the NY agency, SS+K started well, winning JW Marriot. The Australian agency won Agency of the year both nationally and in New South Wales. In the UK, LIDA won Agency of the year for the second year running.

"This year marks our 20th birthday and we would like to take the chance to thank everyone - those with us now and those who have moved on - for their part in making M& C Saatchi the global force it has become. We had very high hopes when we started and we have almost met them."
