Annual General Meeting Chairman's Statement 12th June 2013

At the AGM, Jeremy Sinclair, Chairman M&C Saatchi PLC, will make the following statement:

"Results to date in 2013 have been in line with expectations.

"Recent new business wins have included, in the UK, Adidas, Club Med,  Unipart and more work from RBS. The Stockholm office is getting off to a good start with wins from LG, Oxfam and Carlsberg. South Africa continues to shine with wins from Heineken and the City of Cape Town.  Malaysia, Singapore and  New Zealand also have had good new business wins.

"In March we announced a merger with independent Chinese agency aeiou.  We have also made a small acquisition in the UK to create M&C Saatchi Merlin,  a Creative Talent Management company within our successful Sport and Entertainment division.

"In America, we continue to make progress and to invest in the strategically vital New York office.  The  LA office is performing well.  Clear has shown a good improvement on last year and Walker Media is on track."
