MBB Industries AG: Growth surge from acquisition of CLAAS Fertigungstechnik

Berlin, 9 March 2012 - MBB Industries AG (ISIN DE000A0ETBQ4), a
family-owned, medium-sized corporation, has acquired all shares in CLAAS
Fertigungstechnik GmbH in Beelen from CLAAS KGaA mbH, Harsewinkel. The
purchase agreement is still subject to conditions precedent. However, final
closing is expected to take place before the end of the second quarter of
2012. It has been agreed not to disclose the purchase price. As a result of
the buyout, sales and earnings at MBB Industries will significantly exceed
the planned levels in 2012.

CLAAS Fertigungstechnik generated profitable annual sales in 2011 of
approximately EUR100 million. Sales are expected to rise in 2012 and beyond
on account of its high orders on hand. CLAAS Fertigungstechnik employs 270
people. The company will be operating under the new name of MBB
Fertigungstechnik GmbH in the future.

CLAAS Fertigungstechnik is a leading international firm for plant
engineering and construction specialising in welding and assembly systems
for the automotive industry. It also offers innovative transportation
technologies for exact positioning and inline measurement facilities. Other
industries include aviation, solar and wind power, white goods and
toolmaking.

The acquisition of CLAAS Fertigungstechnik GmbH will result in a
significant increase in annual sales at MBB Industries AG which will total
beyond EUR200 million in 2012. This will be achieved with the Group's new
headcount of more than 1,000 employees. Given the profitable operations of
its new investment, the Managing Board of MBB Industries AG is forecasting
a sustainable increase in annual earnings beyond the EUR0.51 per share
generated in 2011. Even after this acquisition, MBB Industries will have
sufficient funding for further growth including buyouts.
