आवश्यक सुरक्षात्मक उपायों का पालन नहीं करने वालों पर जुर्माना लगाने व उनके खिलाफ दंडात्मक कार्रवाई करने का फैसला किया है। राज्य के वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों ने शनिवार को यहां बताया कि छत्तीसगढ़ में कोविड-19 के संक्रमण की रोकथाम और नियमों के प्रभावी क्रियान्वयन के लिए प्रशासन ने समय–समय पर दिशा– निर्देश जारी किए हैं और अब इन निर्देशों का उल्लंघन करने वालों पर जुर्माना लगाया जाएगा। उन्होंने बताया कि सार्वजनिक स्थलों में मास्क नहीं पहनने की स्थिति में 100 रुपए, घर में पृथकवास के दिशा–निर्देशों का उल्लंघन करने पर 1,000 रुपए, सार्वजनिक स्थलों पर थूकते पाए जाने पर 100 रुपए और दुकानों व व्यावसायिक संस्थानों के मालिकों द्वारा सामाजिक दूरी का उल्लंघन करते पाए जाने पर 200 रुपए जुर्माना वसूला जाएगा।

अधिकारियों ने बताया कि छत्तीसगढ सरकार ने कोरोना को फैलने से रोकने के लिए रक्षात्मक उपायों को अपनाने और उनके पालन को अनिवार्य घोषित किया है। स्वास्थ्य विभाग द्वारा इस संबंध में जारी अधिसूचना के अनुसार, जुर्माना वसूलने की कार्रवाई जिला मजिस्ट्रेट की ओर से अधिकृत अधिकारी ही कर सकेगा। जुर्माना न देने की स्थिति में संबंधित व्यक्ति के खिलाफ महामारी रोग अधिनियम और भारतीय दंड संहिता के अंतर्गत दंडात्मक कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
