Appointment of Director

Following the completion of the merger of the Company with Maven Income and Growth VCT 2 PLC, the Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Peter Linthwaite as a Non-executive Director with effect from 15 November 2018.

Peter, who will resign as a Non-executive director of Maven Income and Growth VCT 2 PLC, currently oversees the portfolio of private equity fund investments of The Royal London Mutual Insurance Society Limited. He has over 25 years of private equity experience and was chief executive of the British Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (BVCA) from 2005 to 2007.

Mr Linthwaite will also serve on the Company's Audit, Management Engagement, Nomination and Risk Committees. He will stand for election by Shareholders at the Annual General Meeting to be held in May 2019.

As a result of the merger, Mr Linthwaite's shareholding in Maven Income and Growth VCT 2 PLC will result in him acquiring a beneficial interest in 2,425 of the Company's Ordinary Shares.

In relation to this appointment, there is no additional information required to be disclosed pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.13 R.
