URANIUM ASSETS VALUE REALISATION OPPORTUNITY
On 21 March 2006, the Company announced the Directors' intention to explore the options to realise the inherent value within the Company's uranium assets through a possible divestment into an appropriate development entity with the consideration received being distributed directly to shareholders of Kalgoorlie-Boulder Resources being considered.
Since the abovementioned release to the market, the Company received an offer for their uranium assets which instigated the request for a trading halt with ASX.
The Company is currently in advanced negotiations with the Offeror who wishes to acquire the Company's uranium assets. The Directors expect to conclude the negotiations within the next seven days, at which time, subject to a successful completion to the negotiations, the Company will make a further announcement providing details of the offer received.
