- $> 1892$ Gold discovered at Dundas starting gold rush. Richest mine was Break Of Day with 383 kg Au mined.
- $>$ 1903 Mining declined in area followed by war.

1982 1988 Australis Mining NL mined small pit at Mt Henry and explored parts of the package.
- $>$ 1988 1994 Central Norseman Gold (50% WMC) explored in area, eventually concentrating on Royal and Norseman reef area, near Norseman.

1994 1997 Australasian Gold mines acquired tenements and mined 11,000 ozs from Abbotshall.

1997 2005 Kinross Gold Australia purchased package to explore and mine deposits for 100,000oz/pa operation > 2005 - Australian Gold Investments purchased package
