HISTORY OF PROJECT

  • $> 1892$ Gold discovered at Dundas starting gold rush. Richest mine was Break Of Day with 383 kg Au mined.
  • $>$ 1903 Mining declined in area followed by war.
  • 1982 1988 Australis Mining NL mined small pit at Mt Henry and explored parts of the package.

  • $>$ 1988 1994 Central Norseman Gold (50% WMC) explored in area, eventually concentrating on Royal and Norseman reef area, near Norseman.
  • 1994 1997 Australasian Gold mines acquired tenements and mined 11,000 ozs from Abbotshall.

  • 1997 2005 Kinross Gold Australia purchased package to explore and mine deposits for 100,000oz/pa operation > 2005 - Australian Gold Investments purchased package
