MATRIX HOLDINGS<1005> - Share Consolidation Market participants are requested to note that the shares of HK$0.01 each (after Capital Reduction) ("Old Shares") in the capital of Matrix Holdings Limited will be consolidated into shares of HK$0.10 each ("New Shares") on the basis of 10 into 1 subject to its shareholders' approval at the Special Genenal Meeting to be held on 30/4/2000. Upon the proposals becoming effective, a temporary counter under stock code 2996 and stock short name "MATRIX HOLDINGS" will be established for trading in board lots of 200 New Shares each to replace the present counter (stock code: 1005) for trading in board lots of 2,000 Old Shares each effective from Wednesday, 3/5/2000.
