Appointment of Chief Operating Officer

Underground coal contractor Mastermyne Group Limited (ASX Code:MYE) today released a statement advising that it has appointed Mr John Stuart-Robertson as it's Chief Operating Officer.

Mr Stuart-Robertson comes to Mastermyne after having spent 18 years with the AJ Lucas Group of companies. During this time he worked in their drilling, pipeline and construction divisions. Mr Stuart Robertson has a strong operational background particularly in project delivery having managed many significant oil & gas and infrastructure projects. In his most recent role at AJ Lucas he assisted in the restructuring of the business.

Managing Director, Tony Caruso, said he was pleased about the appointment of Mr StuartRobertson after what has been an exhaustive and comprehensive recruitment process. "The second half of this financial year and FY2013 are shaping up to be very busy so this appointment was timely". He went on to say that this role is integral to supporting the ongoing sustainable growth of the business and looked forward to Mastermyne's operations teams drawing on the wealth of contracting experience held by Mr Stuart-Robertson.
