KIDEX OY PLANS FLEXIBILITY IN PRODUCTION ORGANIZATION TO INCREASE EFFICIENCY

Martela Oyj's subsidiary Kidex Oy ("Company") plans flexibility in its organization to adjust to demand fluctuations of production. Kidex Oy is contract manufacturer for Martela Oyj's wooden furniture components.

Company estimates that the planned changes might result in lay-offs having impact on 36 employees at the most. Company has invited employee representatives to consultations, according to the local legislation.
