Marshalls plc ("Marshalls" or the "Company") has been notified that on 21 October 2020, the Company's Finance Director, Jack Clarke, disposed, in aggregate, 58,432 ordinary shares in the Company at an average price of 721.12p per share.

The disposal was for personal tax planning purposes. Mr Clarke (and his connected person's) beneficial interest in the Company's shares following these transactions are 96,463 ordinary shares, 0.05% of the Company's issued ordinary share capital. Mr Clarke's retained interest in the Company's shares continues to exceed the requirement for him to hold shares representing at least 200% of his current salary.   

This notification is made in accordance with Article 19 of the Market Abuse Regulation and the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
