CHIEF FINANCE OFFICER START DATE

Further to the announcement made on 10 January 2018, and in accordance with paragraph 9.6.12 of the Listing Rules, Marks and Spencer Group plc today confirms that Humphrey Singer will take up the position of Chief Finance Officer and join the Board on 9 July 2018. Humphrey will work closely with CEO Steve Rowe and the team as they continue to accelerate the pace of transformation at M&S.
