The following information is given subsequent to the announcement made on 5 May 2017 that Archie Norman has been appointed as Non-Executive Chairman of Marks and Spencer Group plc with effect from 1 September 2017.

In accordance with paragraph 9.6.13(1) of the Listing Rules, Archie has confirmed that he was Chairman of ITV plc from 2010 to 2016.

In accordance with paragraph 9.6.13 (2) - (6) of the Listing Rules, Archie has advised that he has no details to disclose.
