Update in Director Responsibilities

Further to the announcement on 18 August 2015, Marks and Spencer Group plc today confirms that Laura Wade-Gery, Executive Director, Multi-Channel, will remain on maternity leave until 31 August 2016, returning to the business on 1 September 2016.

Until Laura's return to the business, Helen Weir, Chief Finance Officer will maintain responsibility for e-commerce distribution, and Sacha Berendji, Director of Retail, and David Walmsley, Director of M&S.com, will continue to report to Marc Bolland, Chief Executive Officer.
