Interim Change in Director Responsibilities

Marks and Spencer Group plc ("M&S") announces today that Laura Wade-Gery, Executive Director, Multi-Channel, will be on maternity leave from 1st September.

Until Laura's return to the business in early January 2016, Sacha Berendji, Director of Retail, and David Walmsley, Director of M&S.com, will report temporarily to Marc Bolland, Chief Executive Officer, while Helen Weir, Chief Finance Officer will be responsible for e-commerce distribution during this short period.
