Marks and Spencer Group PLC announces changes

to its board committee membership

Marks and Spencer Group plc (M&S) today announces that it has been agreed that following his appointment as Group Finance Director of Standard Chartered plc and ahead of his appointment to that Board on 1 July 2014, Andy Halford will stand down as a member of the M&S Remuneration Committee.

He will remain Chairman of the Audit Committee and a member of the Nomination Committee.
