Item 8.01 Other Events.

On January 12, 2010, Marine Products Corporation issued a press release titled, “Marine Products Corporation Plans to Announce Fourth Quarter and Year-End 2009 Financial Results and Host a Conference Call on January 27, 2010.” The press release announced the date that Marine Products Corporation will release its fourth quarter and year-end 2009 financial results. This release also provided the related conference call information.
