Manutan Group finalises the acquisition of Papeteries Pichon, a leading distributor of school supplies to nursery and primary schools

Gonesse, June 30th , 2015

On March 3 rd , 2015, Manutan Group (www.manutan.com), a European leader in equipment distribution for businesses and local authorities, announced that it had signed an agreement aimed at acquiring 100% of the shares in Papeteries Pichon (www.pichon.fr), a leading distributor of school supplies to nursery and primary schools in France.

On June 17th , 2015, France's Competition Authority authorised the transaction. The Manutan Group finalised the acquisition of Papeteries Pichon today on June 30th , 2015.

This operation will cement the Group's status as one of the leading forces in the local authorities market in France, building on the acquisition of Camif Collectivités in 2009 and Casal Sport in 2012.
