COVID – 19 Update – Operations Return to Normal

Manuka Resources Ltd (“ Manuka ” or the “ Company ”) is pleased to advise that following the positive COVID-19 test result received by one of our employees on 21[st] August no other member of our team has tested positive. In all, 35 members of staff were deemed to be close contacts and were isolated for a period which concludes today, 2[nd] September. A further 10 members of staff were deemed to be secondary contacts and were required to isolate until receipt of their negative test result. The site was required to halt all production for 5 days. Normal operations resumed on 26[th] August.

It is noted that except for the original single employee positive, there has been no other positive test, and this includes the employee’s family who have tested negative to date, twice.

The Company commends all its employees for their actions and efforts over the past 2 weeks. It has been a great effort by all. Naturally, their health and safety is our top priority.

As announced on 23[rd] August, Manuka had already enjoyed a record monthly financial and operational performance at Mt Boppy, well ahead of July. This trend continued once operations restarted. Details of the Company’s performance for August will be announced during the week of 6[th] September.
