Transactions in own shares

Man Group plc (the "Company") announces that it has purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 3 3/7 US cents on the London Stock Exchange through J.P. Morgan Securities plc as part of its US$100 million share repurchase programme announced on 12 April 2018.

The Company intends to hold the purchased shares in treasury.  Following the purchase of these shares, the Company holds 18,879,984 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 1,591,262,329 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares). (Note: These figures take into account the transfer of 3,140,953 ordinary shares from the Company's treasury share account on 28 August 2018 in part settlement of an earn out payment made in connection with the acquisition of Aalto Invest Holding AG in 2017.)

Since the commencement of the share repurchase programme, the Company has repurchased 28,661,489 ordinary shares in aggregate at a weighted average price of 178.6980 pence per share.

All transactions under this programme will be published on the Company's website (www.man.com) on a weekly basis.
