Transaction in our own shares

Man Group plc (the "Company") announces that on 31st October 2017 it purchased for cancellation 368,422 of its ordinary shares with a weighted average price of 193.9427 pence per ordinary share pursuant to its US$100 million share repurchase programme, details of which were announced on 13th October 2017.  The highest price paid per share was 194.90 pence and the lowest price paid per share was 192.80 pence. Details of the relevant repurchase transactions are set out below:

Broker: Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) Limited

Since the commencement of the share repurchase programme, the Company has repurchased 2,809,981 ordinary shares in aggregate at a weighted average price of 190.4544 pence per share.

Following the cancellation of these shares, the remaining number of ordinary shares in issue will be 1,651,095,262. (Note: This figure takes into account the issue and allotment of 141,152 ordinary shares on 31st October 2017 in order to satisfy the exercise of options under the Company's Sharesave Scheme.)

The Company does not hold any shares in treasury.

All transactions under this programme will be published on the Company's website (www.man.com) on a weekly basis.
