Transaction in own shares

Man Group plc (the "Company") announces that on 3 February 2017 it purchased for cancellation 514,591 of its ordinary shares with a weighted average price of 138.1271 pence per ordinary share pursuant to its $100 million share repurchase programme, details of which were announced on 14 October 2016. The highest price paid per share was 139.5 pence and the lowest price paid per share was 136.4 pence. Details of the relevant repurchase transactions are set out below:

Price: 138.1271p

Since the commencement of the share repurchase programme, the Company has repurchased 34,440,481 ordinary shares in aggregate at a weighted average price of 122.0186 pence per share.

Following the cancellation of these shares, the remaining number of ordinary shares in issue will be 1,674,605,488.

The Company does not hold any shares in treasury.

All transactions under this programme will be published on the Company's website (www.man.com) on a weekly basis.
