Transaction in own shares

Man Group plc (the "Company") announces that on 18 November 2016 it purchased for cancellation 410,261 of its ordinary shares with a weighted average price of 124.8773 pence per ordinary share pursuant to its $100 million share repurchase programme, details of which were announced on 14 October 2016. The highest price paid per share was 125.7 pence and the lowest price paid per share was 122.7 pence. Details of the relevant repurchase transactions are set out below:

Price: 124.8773p

Since the commencement of the share repurchase programme, the Company has repurchased 9,811,661 ordinary shares in aggregate at a weighted average price of 123.9197 pence per share.

Following the cancellation of these shares, the remaining number of ordinary shares in issue will be 1,693,567,636

The Company does not hold any shares in treasury.
