Transaction in own shares

Man Group plc announces that on 26 March 2014 it purchased for cancellation 1,700,000 of its ordinary shares at an average price of 98.73 pence per ordinary share pursuant to its $115 million share repurchase programme, details of which were announced on 27 February and 6 March 2014. The highest price paid per share was 99.65 pence and the lowest price paid per share was 97.65 pence.

Following the cancellation of these shares, the remaining number of ordinary shares in issue will be 1,810,198,400.

The Company does not hold any shares in treasury.
