Further to its Company Announcement dated 5 June 2020, in which MaltaPost plc (the Company) advised that regulatory approval had been received for the acquisition of a 49% shareholding in Untours Insurance Agents Limited, the Company now advises that it has today completed the agreement for the acquisition of the above shareholding.
MaltaPost plc considers that this acquisition stands to benefit both the Company's stakeholders as well as the community at large.
