Changes in Senior Appointments

Malta International Airport plc announced the following changes in its top management:

Major Charles Abela, Head Technical Services shall be appointed as the company's Technical Consultant with effect from 1st October 2013, where he will be advising the Company on the landside and airside Master Plan, including new projects which the Company undertakes.

With effect from September 2013, Ms. Vicki Brown, an architect by profession, will be joining the Company from SNC Lavalin (Canada) as Head of Projects.

Ing. Emmanuel Briffa has been appointed to Head of Facilities and will be responsible for the maintenance of infrastructure, systems and equipment of the airport.

Mr. Ian Maggi has been appointed to Head of IT, Innovation and Procurement. Mr Maggi has joined the Company in 2008 and was previously Manager Procurement and Stores.

Ing. Martin Dalmas, Head of Operations, will be taking over the responsibility of Customer Services, Fire & Rescue and the Met Office, in addition to his current duties.

Mr. Roderick Bajada, Head of Human Resources will be leaving the company at the end of August. The duties and responsibilities associated with HR and Health and Safety will be taken up by the Executive Director and CFO, Mr Austin Calleja.

Mr. Reuben Sciberras Head of Communications has left the Company. The PR & Corporate Communications department will, with immediate effect, fall under the responsibility of the Executive Director and CCO, Mr Alan Borg.
