The Board of Majedie Investments PLC (the "Company") notes the announcement from Liontrust Asset Management PLC that it has entered into an agreement to acquire the Company's investment manager, Majedie Asset Management Limited ("MAM") . The Company owns a 17.6% shareholding in MAM.  The consideration for the transaction, which is to be satisfied in a mixture of cash and shares issued by Liontrust (which are subject to Lock up conditions) values the Company's stake at approximately £22.37m. Additionally, there is a deferred consideration of up to £5.68m payable in a mixture of shares and cash in 2025.  The Company will reflect this new valuation in its daily net asset values and will update shareholders with further information when available.
