In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of sec-
tion-11 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency
in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation & Resettlement Act,
2013 (No.30 of 2013) (hereinafter referred to as "the Act''),
the Government of Gujarat hereby declares that the
land/Iands mentioned in the Schedule annexed hereto is/are
required for the purpose of acquisition for the public pur-
pose of ''Construction of R.O.B. in place of existing Level
crossing''
2. It is notified that,-
1) The area of land/lands required for the above project is
0-68-69 hector/acer/sq.mtrs. and is at Village Chikhala of
Valsad Taluka of Valsad District;
2) The public purposes involved in the above project is con-
struction of the infrastructure project of ''Construction of
R.O.B. in place of existing Level crossing''
3) The reasons necessitating the displacement of the affect-
ed persons are due to acquisition of land specified in
SCHEDULE for public purpose of construction of the
infrastructure project of ''Construction of R.O.B. in
place of existing Level crossing''
4) Under Section 10A of the act of 12 of 2016 exemption is
given under section 10-A of the Act vide Revenue
Department, Government Notification No. AM-2021-
241-M-LBU-1219-2496-GH Dated 0806-20212021 it is
not required for the summary of the Social lmpact
Assessment Report
5) The particulars of the Administrator appointment under
section 43 of the Act are as under –
Deputy Collector, Valsad, Collector Office, Valsad.
3. All the persons interested in these lands are hereby noti-
fied not to obstruct and disturb any Surveyor or other
staff to enter upon and survey the land. Any transactions
in respect of whole or part of these lands in whatsoever
manner including by sale, lease, mortgage, change of
name, exchange entered into after the date of this
Notification made without permission of the Collector
shall not be taken into consideration by the officer assess-
ing the compensation under section 27 of the Act for a
particular portion of the land as may be finally acquired.
4. The Government of Gujarat, if satisfied about acquisition
of the land for aforesaid public purpose, may publish final
declaration under section 19 of the Act in this regard in
the manner and timeframe so prescribed under the Act.
In case the acquisition is dropped partially or entirely, such
facts shall be notified in a proper manner as provided under
the Act.
5. In exercise of the powers under clause(g) of section 3 of
the Act read with Collector valsad Order
CB/Sampadan/vashi-1463-64/2019 Date:01/10/2019 the
State Government is pleased to designate Deputy
Collector, Valsad to function and discharge the duties as
Collector under the provisions of the Act, in respect of
these lands.
