**Appointment

of Robert Kaye SC as Non-­‐Executive Director**

Magontec Limited (“Magontec”)(ASX:MGL) is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert Kaye SC as an Independent Non-­‐Executive Director effective 16 July 2013.

Mr Kaye is a senior counsel in NSW who has given legal and strategic advice and acted for many public and private financial institutions and commercial enterprises. Mr Kaye is currently the Chairman of Paperlinx Limited.

Commenting on the appointment of Mr Kaye, Executive Chairman Nic Andrews said “We are delighted to welcome Robert Kaye to the Magontec board. Robert’s skills and experience will enhance the excellent group of leaders that Magontec has assembled in Australia and in the other countries in which it operates.”

**Resignation

of Guenter Franke as Non-­‐Executive Director**

Mr Guenter Franke has retired from the Magontec Board effective 16 July 2013. Mr Franke was previously the Chief Operating Officer of Magontec GmbH and then Magontec Limited. He retired as an executive officer of the company in February 2013.

The Board would like to thank Mr Franke for his efforts as a director and executive at Magontec over the last 38 years and to wish him well in his retirement.
