Appointment of Mr. Andrew Viner as Director

Magmatic Resources (‘MAG’, the ‘Company’) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Andrew Viner to the Company’s as a Non-Executive, effective 17 December 2021.

Mr Viner has an extensive history in the Mining Industry over the last 36 years as a Geologist and Company Director focussed principally on mineral exploration for Gold.

He has been involved in significant gold discoveries, Mineral Resource definition and mining in Western Australia and has also managed project generation and mineral exploration activities in in NSW.

Mr Viner has been a Company Director for 20 years, having been a founding Executive Director of Jackson Gold and Matsa Resources and more recently as Executive Chairman of Strickland Metals."

Magmatic Executive Chairman David Richardson has welcomed the appointment of Mr. Andrew Viner and commented “I am delighted to welcome Andy to Magmatic. The company is currently drilling the historical 230,000 oz Au @ 26g/t Bodangora orogenic gold mine and its extensions, and commenced exploration at the Stockmans and MacGregors orogenic gold targets south of the Tomingley gold mine and recent discoveries. Andy’s extensive experience of near surface orogenic gold exploration, particularly in Western Australia and NSW, compliments Magmatic’s ongoing exploration priorities.”

As announced to the market on 19 November 2021, the current managing Director Mr Peter Duerden will step down as director of Magmatic on 17 December 2021. The Company’s new Managing Director, Dr Adam McKinnon will commence in the first quarter of 2022. Up until the commencement of Dr McKinnon in this role, the Company’s Executive Chair, Mr David Richardson, will take on the responsibilities of the Managing Director role. Mr Richardson will be paid an annual salary of $260,000 per annum (on a pro-rata basis) until Mr McKinnon commences his role.
