Annual General Meeting – Executive Chair’s Address

Perth, Australia – Friday, 11 October 2024.

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. My name is Luke Mader. I am the Executive Chair of Mader Group Limited and it is my pleasure to welcome you to the Company’s 2024 Annual General Meeting of shareholders.

This meeting has been convened in accordance with the provisions of the Corporations Act, and as a quorum of shareholders is present, I declare the meeting open.

I would like to introduce my fellow directors, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer, Justin Nuich and Executive Director, Patrick Conway. Non-executive Director, Craig Burton is an apology today as he is currently overseas.

Also present at today’s meeting is our CFO, Paul Hegarty, Company Secretary, Sarah Wilson, and a representative from the Company’s auditors for the 2024 financial year, Dean Just, who is available to answer questions in relation to the financial statements and conduct of the audit for the 2024 financial year.

Driven by a people-first approach, the financial year was pivotal in solidifying the Group’s position as a leading provider of technical services across multiple industries. We focused on refining our strengths, particularly through the diversification of our revenue streams which continues to be a core strategy moving forward.

With 3,200 employees, servicing 430+ customers across more than 570 locations worldwide, we recognise that our people are our most valuable resource; without them our achievements wouldn’t be possible. I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of our team on behalf of the board and the shareholders.

To that note, it is myself and the Board’s responsibility to create a business that unlocks lifechanging career opportunities for our people; careers that extend beyond traditional boundaries. Helping this become possible, are our two culture-led programs, Global Pathways and Three Gears. Global Pathways enables our people to explore the world without changing their shirt. This program has been instrumental in laying a robust foundation in North America and other regions. It serves as a key point of difference to our competitors, helping us attract and retain the best industry talent.

I would also like to acknowledge the responsibility myself and the board have to our customers and our shareholders. We are committed to creating a business that remains competitive in all market conditions; one that can adapt and evolve to provide effective solutions for our customers across multiple industries, while staying true to our roots.

With our five-year strategic plan now well underway, we are fortunate to be guided by an exceptional leadership team who are unified in their vision, goals and values. Our vision is to become a large, diversified business, that delivers sustainable long-term value to our shareholders, market leading solutions to our customers, and lasting careers for our people.

I am excited about the future of Mader. We have a clear vision, a robust foundation, and a dedicated team ready to take on new challenges.

Now, we will turn our attention to the formal part of the meeting, where we will consider the resolutions to be put to Shareholders, as set out in the Notice of Meeting made available to Shareholders on 11 September 2024.

Following this, I will invite Justin Nuich to provide an overview of the Company’s activities and performance in 2024 and to give an update on our plans for 2025. I would like to extend my invitation for you to stay for tea and coffee after the meeting.
