Expiry of ASX listed options (ASX: KFEO)

Exploration and development company, Kogi Iron Limited (“Kogi Iron” or “the Company”) (ASX: KFE) provides notice of the impending expiry of ASX listed options with an exercise price of $10.00 and expiry date of 31 March 2013.

As a result of the significant difference between the exercise price of the listed options and the current market price of the Company’s ordinary listed shares, a notice in accordance with Appendix 6A of the ASX Listing Rules will not be sent to registered holders.

The Company has not complied with the notice period set out in clause 6.1 of Appendix 6A of the ASX Listing Rules or applied for an appropriate waiver due to an administrative oversight; however the Company provides the following information:

• a) There are 272 registered holders of listed options;

• b) There are 1,497,327 listed options over ordinary shares;

• c) The exercise price of these options is $10.00;

• d) The due date for payment is 5pm WST Sunday, 31 March 2013;

• e) If you are a registered holder and you DO NOT wish to exercise your options then you need do nothing. The consequence of doing nothing will be that the options will lapse on close of business 31 March 2013;

• f) This class of listed options will cease to be quoted by ASX at close of market on 29 March 2013;

• g) At close of trade yesterday 5 March 2013, the market price for ordinary shares in the Company was 14 cents; and

• h) The highest price for shares in the Company over the preceding 3 months was 30 cents on 7 December 2012 and the lowest price was 14 cents on 5 March 2013;
