Approval received under US antitrust laws

Further to Redflex's previous announcements on the scheme proposal from The Carlyle Group and Macquarie ( Scheme proposal ), Redflex announces that the US Federal Trade Commission has approved Redflex's request for early termination of the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvement Act of 1976 (US) in relation to the implementation of the Scheme proposal.

Accordingly the condition set out in paragraph (a)(iii) ( HSR ) of the attachment to Redflex's announcement on 21 February 2011 is now satisfied.

Redflex will continue to update shareholders as appropriate on the status and timing of the Consortium's proposal.
