Sydney Airport notes completion of the Macquarie Group in-specie distribution
We are delighted to welcome our new Sydney Airport investors.
This in-specie distribution of Sydney Airport securities (originally announced on 1 November 2013) has increased our free float and liquidity, and has significantly broadened our investor register. It has significantly expanded our existing 39,000 investor base to include many well-known institutional fund managers and superannuation funds alongside a wide range of retail holders.
For those investors that received Sydney Airport securities as part of the in-specie distribution, investor holding statements and information packs, including your new Security Holder Reference Numbers, will be mailed on 17 January. Please read these carefully as you will need to supply some personal details to Sydney Airport. Due to privacy laws, some information has not been transferred across from your Macquarie Group holding to your Sydney Airport holding.
