The Leighton transaction will deliver a swift and certain exit from Construction and prevent the Company being exposed to significant project losses as a result of ongoing uncertainty and delays. The Independent Expert has also re-affirmed its opinion that the transaction is not fair but reasonable and non-associated shareholders are likely to be better off if the Leighton transaction proceeds.
