Macmahon Appoints Additional Independent Non-Executive Director

Macmahon Holdings Limited (ASX:MAH) (‘ Macmahon’ or ‘the Company’ ) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Denise McComish as an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company, effective from 1 March 2021.

Ms McComish is a highly experienced and credentialled accounting and audit professional, and is currently a non-executive director of Beyond Blue and Chief Executive Women. She is also a fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a member of the Australian Takeovers Panel.

Ms McComish was a partner at KPMG for 30 years, and a member of the Board of KPMG Australia from 2012 to 2018.

Commenting on the appointment, Macmahon’s Chair, Eva Skira said:

“On behalf of my fellow directors I am delighted to welcome Denise to the Board of Macmahon as an additional independent director. Given Denise’s significant skills and corporate experience in the areas of audit, reporting, assurance and M&A, we believe her appointment will further strengthen the Board as we continue to pursue our growth strategy.”

An Initial Director’s Interest Notice for Ms McComish will be lodged with the ASX on 1 March 2021 when her term as a director commences.
