Notification of transactions of Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility ('PDMR')

Macfarlane Group PLC (the 'Company') announces for the purposes of DTR 3.1.4R that the Company has been informed today that Peter Atkinson has exercised all his vested options granted under the Macfarlane Group Executive Share Option Scheme 2000.  Sufficient shares were sold to cover the associated tax liability and cost of acquisition and following these transactions the total shareholding for Peter Atkinson and his connected persons has increased by 108,872  (0.09% of share capital) to 854,172 (0.74% of share capital).
