Trading Update on Autumn 2025 Intake
Trading Update on Autumn 2025 Intake
Lumi Gruppen (the “Company”) today provides a trading update following the conclusion of the autumn 2025 intake across its key segments.
Oslo Nye Høyskole (ONH)
The Company is pleased to report that its largest segment, ONH (the ONH segment includes Oslo Nye Høyskole, Oslo Nye Fagskole and ONH Education), continues to deliver strong growth, achieving a 14 per cent increase in revenue from new contracts signed for the academic year 2025/26. This sustained double-digit growth in student intake reflects the continued demand for the Company’s programmes and further strengthens ONH’s position as a fast-growing leader in online tertiary education.
Outlook for the academic year 2025/26 (1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026)
• New contracts, combined with recurring revenues, are expected to deliver total revenue growth of approximately 14 per cent.
• Estimated revenue*: NOK 323–326 million (versus NOK 285 million in the prior year).
• ONH expects to deliver an adjusted EBIT margin ahead of the 21.4 per cent reported for the prior academic year, trending towards the financial ambitions of an EBIT margin of 25-30 per cent, announced for the academic year 2026/27.
Sonans
Sonans (the Sonans segment includes Sonans and Realfagshjelpen) has continued its positive development for the second consecutive year. Revenue growth for the academic year 2025/26 is expected in the range of 6–8 per cent. The segment is now on track to reach operating profit levels close to its stated ambition ahead of the previously communicated recovery timeline, with adjusted EBIT margins improving. This performance reflects both the impact of efficiency initiatives already implemented and those still being rolled out, combined with stabilisation in student volumes.
Outlook for the academic year 2025/26 (1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026)
• Revenue growth: 6–8 per cent.
• Estimated revenue*: NOK 198–202 million (versus NOK 187 million in the prior year).
• Sonans expects to deliver an adjusted EBIT margin above the prior academic year, moving towards the financial ambitions of an EBIT margin of ~15 per cent announced for 2026/27.
* Revenue is defined as Operating Revenue in the Group’s financial statements.
Nina Vesterby, CEO of Lumi Gruppen, commented:
"The positive intake trend over recent weeks sets the stage for another academic year of solid revenue growth across both our segments. This growth is combined with efficiency initiatives driving margin improvements in line with our medium-term financial ambitions.”
