On August 6, 2009, we issued a press release announcing our second quarter 2009 consolidated operating results. We completed our acquisition of Embarq Corporation ("Embarq") on July 1, 2009. To assist the investment community in tracking Embarq's financial and operating trends, we are providing selected financial and subscriber information of Embarq for the second quarter of 2009. See Exhibit 99.2 for additional information.
