1Q26 Executive Summary

【1Q26】

  • Q1 sales of NT$43.4 billion, up 19% YoY; the Cloud & AIoT delivered ~50% yearly growth.
  • Excluding one-off inventory write-down allowance, Gross Margin was 22.8% and Operating Margin was 10.5%, resulting from synergies of strong demand for AI infrastructure, continued global capacity expansion, enhanced high-value business, and intensive supply chain collaboration.
  • Q1 Net profits reached NT$3.78 billion and EPS of NT$1.66, up 10% YoY, reaching a five-year high for the same period.

【Core businesses】

  • Thanks to increased shipments of cloud computing products for AI server power management and energy storage solutions, cloud-related business has achieved over 70% revenue growth.
  • Core application in Opto-semiconductors enhanced continuously, driven by visible LED in cloud computing and invisible LED.
  • In IT&CE, shipments of high-end and LEO satellite power supplies increased yearly.

Strengthening core businesses while advancing cross-border M&A and global expansion to support AI infrastructure and strategic growth

A. BOD has resolved to :

  • The U.S. investment of US$919 million for long-term investments in land, buildings, plant and equipment (PP&E), to expand energy products and production capacity supporting AI infrastructure.
  • The Vietnam subsidiary plans a cash capital increase of US$149 million to support business growth and CAPEX for capacity expansion.

B. Strategic CAPEX Expansion: Transforming from a Power Supplier to an AI System Integration Partner

  • Early deployment of next-gen AI technologies and capacity—including AI energy infrastructure, and system integration—to strengthen competitiveness and lay the foundation for industry transformation.
  • Expanding North American and global footprint to build key operating sites in core AI markets, supporting localized supply chains, stronger operational resilience and customer engagement.

C. Globalization of Fundraising :

  • Positioning ahead of potential AI infrastructure-related cross-border M&A, the Company is proactively advancing its global M&A and capital deployment framework to support long-term strategic growth.
  • To promote the internationalization and diversification of fundraising methods, AGM are requested to authorize the BOD, subject to prudent review and resolution, to act in accordance with applicable regulations and make relevant disclosures when funding needs arise.
