LPKF: Supervisory Board Elects Dr. Markus Peters as its New Chairman

Garbsen, July 26, 2017 – The Supervisory Board of LPKF Laser & Electronics AG approved a change of Chairman at its meeting yesterday. As indicated at the Annual General Meeting on June 1, 2017, Dr. Heino Büsching has resigned as Chairman of the Supervisory Board with effect from October 15, 2017. Peters is to take over as Chairman and Büsching as Deputy Chairman from October 16, 2017.

Büsching is confident that the Supervisory Board, which now has four members following the election of Dr. Rothweiler and Dr. Peters at the Annual General Meeting in June, is well equipped for the tasks ahead: “The new Supervisory Board colleagues extend the range of expertise and experience in various fields relevant to LPKF. I firmly believe that the Supervisory Board will maintain its robust approach to decision-making, engaging in constructive dialog.”

Peters thanked the Supervisory Board members for the trust placed in him. “In my new role, I will act in the interest of all shareholders to ensure that LPKF AG remains on track for a return to profitable growth.”
