LPA Group plc ("LPA" or the "Group"), the LED lighting and electro-mechanical system manufacturer and distributor, announces the appointment of Christopher Buckenham FCCA as Chief Financial Officer with effect from 22 March 2018, in succession to Stephen Brett ACA, Finance Director, who alongside Per Staehr, Non-Executive Director, retires at the conclusion of the Company's Annual General Meeting to be held at 12 noon today.

Chris joined LPA in October 2017 as Finance Executive as part of the Group Management succession plan to succeed Stephen Brett, Finance Director, whose retirement at LPA's Annual General Meeting was announced in the Chairman's Statement on 23 January 2018.

Chris qualified as a chartered certified accountant in 1996 and became a partner with SR Howell & Co before joining Grant Thornton Corporate Finance in 2000. Having led the financial restructuring of a client, CRP, he became its Finance Director and a shareholder in it in 2005. He left CRP in 2016 following its acquisition by Smurfit Kappa in 2013, to become Group Finance Director at Penso.

Other than as set out below, there are no matters that are required to be disclosed under Schedule 2(g) of the AIM Rules for Companies in respect of the appointment of Christopher James Buckenham (aged 46):
